The Marthas Vineyard Sharks (15-14) beat the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (9-18) 5-4 on Tuesday at Vineyard Baseball Park behind Jon Mayer, who collected four hits.

Kyle Brenner had an impressive outing against the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide's lineup. The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide managed just two hits off of Brenner, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three during his 4 2/3 innings of work.

Matt Calamoneri recorded his first win of the year for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. He allowed one run over one inning. Calamoneri struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.

Dillon Corliss (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
