The Nashua Silver Knights (2-2) came out firing, but couldn't hang on to the lead, ending up on the losing side of a 4-3 ballgame against the Pittsfield Suns (2-3) on Sunday at Holman Stadium.
While the Nashua Silver Knights led until the eighteenth inning, the Pittsfield Suns worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI single by Brenden Geary.
Jeff McGarry was solid at the plate for the Pittsfield Suns. McGarry went 4-9 and drove in one. He singled in the third, fifth, sixth, and eighth innings.
