Shane Cody hit two home runs to carry the Marysville Goldsox to an 8-2 win over the Nevada Big Horns (8-26) at Appeal-Democrat Park.

Cody racked up six RBIs on three hits for the Marysville Goldsox. He singled in the third inning and homered in the fifth and sixth innings.

The Marysville Goldsox blew out the Nevada Big Horns thanks to 13 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Marysville Goldsox scored four runs in the sixth on the Marysville Goldsox scored in the sixth on a single by Dalton Blaser, an RBI single by Blaser, a single by Olson, and a solo home run by Cody.

Ben Brooks pitched lights out for the Marysville Goldsox. The Nevada Big Horns managed just two hits off of Brooks, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out two during his six innings of work.
