The bats were busy at Western Nevada College on Sunday, and when the dust cleared the Sacramento Heat (13-16) had a 12-10 win over the Nevada Big Horns (8-21).

The two teams combined for 21 hits in the game.

Braxton Phillips racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Sacramento Heat. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the second and eighth innings.

Richard Kerr racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Nevada Big Horns. He singled in the first inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Cameron Law got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed two runs over three innings. Law struck out one, walked two and gave up three hits.

Dallas Melum couldn't get it done on the mound for the Nevada Big Horns, taking a loss. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
