Kyle Buchanan racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Atwater Aviators. He singled in the second, fifth, and sixth innings.

Danny Mayer racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Sacramento Heat. He doubled in the seventh inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Brent Backlund recorded his fourth win for the Atwater Aviators even though he allowed six runs over six innings. Backlund struck out three, walked two and gave up 12 hits.

Alex Fitchett (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked four, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
