The Sacramento Heat (1-0) continued to pile up the runs on Tuesday, scoring three runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 14-4 win over the Sacramento M_apos;s at Mather Field.

A two-run triple by Derek Rodigo and a three-run home run by Danny Mayer helped the Sacramento Heat score five runs in the third. The Sacramento Heat had four hits in the inning.

Rodigo led the Sacramento Heat's offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He scored one run and had three RBIs.

Matt Gunter brought the heat against the Sacramento M_apos;s during his outing. Gunter held the Sacramento M_apos;s hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Justin Jordan reached base three times in the game for the Sacramento M_apos;s. He singled in the second innings and doubled in the third inning.

Chase Hunt-Murray recorded his first win of the year for the Sacramento Heat. Hunt-Murray struck out one, walked none and gave up one hit.

Matt Dean couldn't get it done on the mound for the Sacramento M_apos;s, taking a loss. He allowed 14 runs in nine innings, walked 13 and struck out nine.
