The Top Speed Baseball (33-5) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the Sacramento Heat (14-20), recording a 15-3 victory on Saturday at Sacramento St.

The game was decided quickly as the Top Speed Baseball exerted their will early with 10 runs in the first three innings.

An RBI double by Jackson Slaid during the first inning and a sacrifice fly by Matthew Haskins, an RBI single by Garrett Everhart, an RBI single by Everhart, a single by Matt Owen, a wild pitch, , a single by Slaid, a two-run single by Slaid, and a double by Kyer Vega in the second inning helped the Top Speed Baseball put some runs on the board early.

Slaid racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Top Speed Baseball.

Joey Lucchesi got the win for the Top Speed Baseball thanks to seven strikeouts. Lucchesi allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk over five innings.

Danny Mayer (1-3) took the loss for the Sacramento Heat. He allowed eight runs in two innings, walked two and struck out two.
