The Top Speed Baseball (30-4) and the Nevada Big Horns (8-25) both had scoring chances on Tuesday, but it was the Top Speed Baseball that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 7-5 win at McQueen HS.
Rob Smith Jr. racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Top Speed Baseball. He homered in the second inning and singled in the sixth innings.
Zachary Muenster paced the Nevada Big Horns at the plate. Muenster went 2-3, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.
Nick Sanchez got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He allowed one run over one inning. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered one hit.
Dylan Culver couldn't get it done on the mound for the Nevada Big Horns, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
