Ross Spurgeon pitched lights out for the Schaumburg Boomers. The Frontier Greys managed just one hit off of Spurgeon, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out five during his three innings of work.

Joe Rapp got on base three times in the game for the Frontier Greys. He scored two runs and had two RBIs. He homered in the third inning.
