Joe Cuda kept the Washington Wild Things (49-33) off the board during his five innings of work and the River City Rascals (51-32) beat the Washington Wild Things, 3-0.

Cuda struck out eight and allowed no walks and three hits.

Christopher OHare pitched lights out for the Washington Wild Things. OHare held the River City Rascals hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.

Zach LeBarron ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
