The Florence Freedom (32-43) and the Traverse City Beach Bums (31-46) each put runners in scoring position on Wednesday, but the Florence Freedom capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 5-4 win at Wuerfel Park.

Buddy Sosnoskie racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Florence Freedom. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the sixth inning.

It was a good day at the plate for the Traverse City Beach Bums' Jovan Rosa. Rosa went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the second, fifth, and seventh innings.

Pete Levitt recorded his first win of the year for the Florence Freedom. Levitt struck out one, walked one and gave up no hits.

Alex Phillips (3-7) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out six, and allowed five runs.
