Josh Spence kept the Gateway Grizzlies (44-30) off the board during his six innings of work and the Windy City ThunderBolts (27-47) beat the Gateway Grizzlies, 3-0.

Spence struck out five and allowed three walks and four hits.

Kyle Robinson had a hot bat for the Windy City ThunderBolts. Robinson went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Tucker Jensen (7-3) took the loss for the Gateway Grizzlies. He lasted just eight innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
