The Washington Wild Things (46-29) built an early edge on Sunday, but the Traverse City Beach Bums (31-44) roared back to steal a 6-4 victory at CONSOL Energy Park.

An RBI single by Kevin Taylor gave the Traverse City Beach Bums the lead in the seventh inning.

Jovan Rosa put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He singled in the fourth inning, doubled in the sixth inning, and tripled in the seventh inning.

A bright spot for the Washington Wild Things in the defeat was Matt Sergey, who allowed only one run while striking out six.

Will Rankin improved to 5-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Traverse City Beach Bums. Rankin struck out one, walked none and gave up one hit.

Jonathan Kountis was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed four runs.

The Traverse City Beach Bums were sparked by Rosa and Sean Gusrang, who teamed up for six hits and three RBIs.
