The bats were busy at UC Health Stadium on Sunday, and when the dust cleared the Traverse City Beach Bums (27-41) had a 13-8 win over the Florence Freedom (26-40).

The teams totaled 27 hits in the game.

Jeff DeBlieux had three extra-base hits for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He tripled in the fifth inning, homered in the seventh inning, and doubled in the ninth inning.

Casey Delgado picked up the win for the Traverse City Beach Bums. Delgado allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Rob Kelly racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Florence Freedom. He singled in the fifth inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Dave Middendorf (4-6) took the loss for the Florence Freedom. He allowed 10 runs in six innings, walked none and struck out three.

DeBlieux, Jovan Rosa, Rob Benedict and Jose Vargas helped lead the Traverse City Beach Bums. They combined for 11 hits and nine RBIs.
