The Gateway Grizzlies outdone by Bachman and the Frontier Greys, 9-4

Greg Bachman collected three hits, sparking the Frontier Greys (20-42) to a 9-4 victory over the Gateway Grizzlies (37-25) on Sunday at GCS Ballpark.

He homered in the first inning and singled in the fourth and eighth innings.

The Gateway Grizzlies couldn't get anything going so long as Paul Mittura was on the hill. The Gateway Grizzlies managed just one hit off of the the Frontier Greys' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out two during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Andrew Aizenstadt put together a nice outing. The Frontier Greys managed just one hit off of Aizenstadt, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

Kerry Kelley (2-4) took the loss for the Gateway Grizzlies. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked two and struck out five.
