The Windy City ThunderBolts (22-37) didn't stand a chance on Saturday, as the Joliet Slammers (23-37) captured a blowout 16-5 win at Standard Bank Stadium.

Colin Gotzon got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He allowed four runs over five innings. Gotzon struck out one, walked one and gave up seven hits.

Josh Spence (0-5) took the loss for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked two and struck out five.

The Joliet Slammers pounded the Windy City ThunderBolts pitching, as six hitters combined for 18 hits, 13 RBIs and 14 runs scored.
