A two-run single by Scott Kalamar delivered the runs in the seventh. The Washington Wild Things had two hits in the inning.

C.J. Beatty racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Washington Wild Things. He homered in the third inning.

The Washington Wild Things relied on Zac Fuesser to eat up innings en route to the win. Fuesser allowed one earned run, three hits and two walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Phil Butler led the Southern Illinois Miners' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the third inning and singled in the ninth inning.
