Chris Ellison collected three hits, helping the Frontier Greys (18-38) to a 6-3 victory over the Lake Erie Crushers (29-26) on Monday at All Pro Freight Stadium.
He tripled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and ninth innings.Andrew Davis did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Lake Erie Crushers, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the fifth inning.
Lamarre Rey got the win, running his season record to 2-2. He allowed two runs over five innings. Rey struck out one, walked four and gave up six hits.
Todd Kibby (5-2) took the loss for the Lake Erie Crushers. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
