The Lake Erie Crushers (28-25) continued to pile up the runs on Saturday, scoring five runs in the last three innings, on the way to a 16-4 landslide win over the Florence Freedom (22-29) at All Pro Freight Stadium.

A three-run double by Adam Ford and a two-run home run by Joey Burney helped the Lake Erie Crushers score five runs in the eighth. The Lake Erie Crushers had four hits in the inning.

Ford racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Lake Erie Crushers.

Caleb Bryson racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Florence Freedom. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Brad Duffy recorded his second win of the year for the Lake Erie Crushers. Duffy struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.

Dave Middendorf was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
