Greg Harisis went 2-3 and hit a home run, helping the Traverse City Beach Bums (19-28) to a 4-3 victory over the Evansville Otters (27-18) on Wednesday at Bosse Field.

D.J. Johnson had an impressive outing against the Evansville Otters' lineup. Johnson held the Evansville Otters hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Chris Sweeney had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the second inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and homered in the sixth inning.

Will Rankin got the win, running his season record to 3-2. He allowed one run over 1 1/3 innings. Rankin struck out one, walked none and gave up one hit.

Taylor Dennis couldn't get it done on the mound for the Evansville Otters, taking a loss. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
