The Florence Freedom (19-22) beat the Washington Wild Things (27-16) 5-3 on Friday at UC Health Stadium behind Sam Eberle, who went 2-4 and hit a home run.

The Washington Wild Things couldn't get anything going as long as Pete Levitt was pitching. The Washington Wild Things managed just one hit off of Levitt, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Maxx Garrett racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Washington Wild Things. He homered in the fourth inning.
