The Lake Erie Crushers take out the Washington Wild Things with help from Mejia, 11-7

Vincent Mejia had two extra base hits as the Lake Erie Crushers (20-19) took home an 11-7 victory over the Washington Wild Things (24-15) at All Pro Freight Stadium on Sunday.

He singled in the first inning, doubled in the fifth innings, and homered in the fifth inning.

Scott Kalamar racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Washington Wild Things. He homered in the second inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Ryan Connolly recorded the win for the Lake Erie Crushers. He pitched two shutout innings. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Zach LeBarron was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just zero innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.

The Lake Erie Crushers' Mejia, Ryan Hutchison, Juan Sanchez and Andrew Davis combined for nine hits and seven RBIs.
