The Southern Illinois Miners (19-16) rolled over the Frontier Greys (9-26) 7-1 on Wednesday at Rent One Park, Marion, IL after a four-run rally in the sixth inning.

The Southern Illinois Miners scored in the sixth on an error, an RBI single by Jared McDonald, and a two-run double by Ryan Cavan.

Frank Martinez was hot from the plate for the Southern Illinois Miners. Martinez went 3-4 and scored one run.

Matt Bywater racked up eight strikeouts in the the Southern Illinois Miners win. Bywater allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk over eight innings.
