Alexi Colon drove in three runs, sparking the Schaumburg Boomers (19-13) to a 4-3 victory over the Windy City ThunderBolts (13-18) on Saturday at Schaumburg Baseball Stadium.

Hunter Ackerman handled the Windy City ThunderBolts' lineup with ease, racking up nine strikeouts. Ackerman allowed one earned run on three hits and one walk over four innings.

Kyle Robinson racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the first and eighth innings.

Clark Labitan improved to 2-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Schaumburg Boomers. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Daniel Cropper was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
