Three first-inning runs helped the Frontier Greys (8-25) to a 7-6 win over the Florence Freedom (15-17) at UC Health Stadium on Saturday.

A three-run home run by Joe Rapp delivered the runs in the first. The Frontier Greys had two hits in the inning.

Rapp racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Frontier Greys.

Jarret Leverett put together a nice outing. Leverett held the Florence Freedom hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Clint Wright recorded his third win for the Frontier Greys even though he allowed five runs over six innings. Wright struck out one, walked two and gave up 10 hits.

Brent Choban (0-1) took the loss for the Florence Freedom. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
