Four first-inning runs helped the Rockford Aviators (8-8) to a 7-4 win over the Gateway Grizzlies (11-6) at GCS Ballpark on Tuesday.

The Rockford Aviators scored in the first on an RBI single by Kenny Bryant, a groundout by Edgar Corcino, and a two-run double by Austin Gallagher.

Jeff Kremer racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Rockford Aviators. He singled in the first and eighth innings.

Michael Wing racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Gateway Grizzlies. He homered in the second inning and singled in the sixth innings.

Joey Wagman got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He allowed four runs over 5 2/3 innings. Wagman struck out four, walked two and gave up five hits.

Dejai Oliver was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked six and struck out four.
