Johnny Morales had two extra base hits, helping the River City Rascals (9-5) to a 6-4 victory over the Schaumburg Boomers (6-8) on Saturday at T. R. Hughes Ballpark.

Brian McConkey had two extra-base hits for the Schaumburg Boomers. He doubled in the fifth inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Craig Goodman recorded his first win of the year for the River City Rascals. He allowed three runs over six innings. Goodman struck out four, walked three and gave up four hits.

Seth Webster ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed five runs.

The River City Rascals' Evan Crawford, Morales and Zach Kometani combined for seven hits and three RBIs.
