Slaid racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Top Speed Baseball. He singled in the third inning and tripled in the seventh inning.
The South Bay Storm couldn't get anything going so long as Andrew Millner was on the hill. Millner held the South Bay Storm hitless over 2 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three.
Clayton Nodal (3-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked five, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
