The Lethbridge Bulls (26-13) and the Medicine Hat Mavericks (22-17) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Lethbridge Bulls that eventually took advantage of them in a 6-2 win at Spitz Stadium.

Mitch Dornblut reached base two times in the game for the Lethbridge Bulls. He tripled in the sixth inning.

The Medicine Hat Mavericks couldn't get anything going as long as Alex Regan was pitching. The Medicine Hat Mavericks managed just three hits off of Regan, who allowed no earned runs, walked five and struck out five during his four innings of work.

Chris Stodolka improved to 1-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Lethbridge Bulls. He allowed two runs over three innings. Stodolka struck out two, walked one and gave up three hits.

Ryan Chen was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked five, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
