The Saskatoon Yellow Jackets (11-16) and the Swift Current Indians (15-13) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets that eventually took advantage of them in an 8-5 win at Mitchell Field.

Connor Lloyd reached base four times in the game for the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the third and eighth innings.

Hunter Owen racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Swift Current Indians. He singled in the first and third innings and homered in the fifth inning.

Andrew Malone recorded his first win for the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets even though he allowed five runs over five innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered nine hits.

Peter Irvin (1-2) took the loss for the Swift Current Indians. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked four and struck out one.
