A walk-off error from Derek Cornell brought home the winning run for the Moose Jaw Miller Express (10-6) in a 6-5 victory over the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets (5-10) in 12 innings at Ross Wells Park on Tuesday.
Danny Lokesak was solid at the plate for the Moose Jaw Miller Express. Lokesak went 4-5 and scored two runs. He singled in the second, fourth, and fifth innings and doubled in the eighth inning.
Connor Keating got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered one hit.
Brendan Erickson (0-1) took the loss for the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
