Blake Evetts had two extra base hits, helping the Melville Millionaires (8-8) to an 8-6 victory over the Medicine Hat Mavericks (11-6) on Tuesday at Pirie Field.

He singled in the third inning and doubled in the second and fifth innings.

Trey Marker got the win for the Melville Millionaires thanks to 10 strikeouts. Marker allowed one earned run, two hits and four walks over five innings.

Bryan Arthur got on base two times in the game for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He scored three runs and had one RBI. He homered in the fourth inning.

Ryan Chen was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked three and struck out two.

Evetts, Jake Collins and Logan Terwilliger helped lead the Melville Millionaires. They combined for six hits and four RBIs.
