The Okotoks Dawgs outdone by Redhead and the Edmonton Prospects, 6-4

Bryn Redhead went 3-3 at the plate as the Edmonton Prospects (2-2) took home a 6-4 victory over the Okotoks Dawgs (0-2) at Telus Field on Tuesday.

He singled in the second, fifth, and eighth innings.

Scott Hoyt got on base three times in the game for the Okotoks Dawgs. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

The Edmonton Prospects had no answer for Chris Horvath, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Horvath gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his three innings of work.

Brenden Wiun got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed one run over two innings. Wiun struck out four, walked one and gave up one hit.

Matt Olsavsky (0-1) took the loss for the Okotoks Dawgs. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
