A magnificent effort by Travis Eckert spurred the Clark (16-8) to a 2-0 win over the Chemeketa (11-11) on Friday at Chemeketa Baseball Stadium.

Eckert held the Chemeketa scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on three hits while striking out nine.

Martin Brown allowed no earned runs, five hits and two walks while striking out two over nine innings of work.

Brown was charged with his second loss of the year.
