The Wenatchee Valley (26-5) shut the door early on the Walla Walla (14-20), capturing a 9-3 victory on Saturday at North Rotary Park .

A fielder's choice during the first inning and , an RBI single by Becky Wall, a three-run triple by Ashley Wilkey, , and an RBI single by Sidney Hazen in the second inning supplied the early offense for the Wenatchee Valley.Wilkey racked up four RBIs on one hit for the Wenatchee Valley.
Cheyenne Kessler racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Walla Walla. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fourth and fifth innings.
Liz Crookes improved to 13-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Wenatchee Valley. He allowed two runs over 5 2/3 innings. Crookes struck out one, walked two and gave up eight hits.
Miranda Smith (2-3) took the loss for the Walla Walla. He lasted just one inning, walked three, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
