Bailey Turner went 3-3 at the plate, sparking the Yakima Valley (15-15) to a 7-5 victory in seven innings over the Walla Walla (14-20) on Friday at Dunbar Field .

Even though April Shipley allowed five runs over 5 2/3 innings he still recorded the victory, his fourth of the season. Shipley struck out two, walked three and gave up seven hits.
Jamie Moe (9-13) took the loss for the Walla Walla. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked one and struck out two.
