Curtis helps the Everett down the Olympic 5-2

Wade Curtis went 2-3, sparking the Everett (18-20) to a 5-2 victory in seven innings over the Olympic (6-33) on Sunday at Everett Memorial Stadium .

He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third innings.

The Olympic couldn't get anything going as long as Brad Monson was pitching. The Olympic managed just three hits off of Monson, who allowed two earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his 5 2/3 innings of work.

Jerome Byndloss (1-6) took the loss for the Olympic. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
