A nine-run explosion in the fourth inning hoisted the Walla Walla (12-14) to a 14-6 win in six innings over the Blue Mountain (3-21) at Warrior Field on Friday.
The Blue Mountain jumped out to an early lead, but they were unable to hang on. The Blue Mountain led until the fourth inning, but the Walla Walla took the lead back on an RBI single by Kendyl Hamilton.
Stefanie Snow went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Walla Walla. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the second and sixth innings.
Jamie Moe got his eighth win for the Walla Walla despite allowing six runs over five innings. Moe struck out four, walked one and gave up eight hits.
Nicole Brown (1-13) took the loss for the Blue Mountain. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
