Sydney Brown drove in three runs as the Douglas (9-1) took home a 9-7 victory over the Olympic (5-11) in seven innings at Lyons Park on Saturday.
He singled in the first and third innings and doubled in the fourth innings.Mariah Frazier racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Olympic. He singled in the second innings and homered in the fourth inning.
Even though Morganne Blattmann allowed seven runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his third of the season. Blattmann struck out one, walked three and gave up seven hits.
Erika Henderson was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in seven innings, walked three and struck out one.
