The Highline offense too much for the South Puget Sound in 15-2 rout

The Highline (14-18) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the South Puget Sound (0-28), recording a 15-2 victory on Saturday at Highline Field.

With 11 runs in the first three innings, the Highline left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

A two-run single by Daysha Filipe, a two-run error, and a two-run double by Larissa Henderson in the first inning helped the Highline put some runs on the board early.

Kayla Andrus racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Highline. He homered in the fourth inning.

Jordanne Krumpols racked up two RBIs on one hit for the South Puget Sound. He homered in the fifth inning.

Hayley Craddock improved to 5-7 on the year by picking up the win for the Highline. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered three hits.

Amanda Rupright (0-26) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 15 runs in four innings, walked one and struck out two.
