The Highline (13-18) beat the South Puget Sound 7-1 Saturday behind both the bat and the arm of Kayla Andrus.

Andrus racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Highline. He homered in the first inning.

Andrus brought the heat against the South Puget Sound (0-27) during his outing. Andrus held the South Puget Sound hitless over five innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five.

The biggest inning for the Highline was the first. The South Puget Sound had no answer as the Highline scored four runs.

Amanda Rupright (0-25) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked none and struck out five.
