The Treasure Valley offense too much for the Blue Mountain in 12-4 rout

The Treasure Valley (28-15) jumped out to an early lead on the Blue Mountain (7-29) and captured a 12-4 victory on Saturday at BMCC Softball Field .

The game was decided quickly as the Treasure Valley exerted their will early with 12 runs in the first three innings.

An RBI double by Haylee Hathorn, an RBI double by Hathorn, an RBI single by Megan Forsberg, and an RBI single by Forsberg in the first inning and a two-run home run by Lindsey Stover and a solo home run by Cheyenne Barger during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Treasure Valley.

Jandee Carlson racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Treasure Valley. He homered in the third inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Mikaela Cain racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Blue Mountain. He singled in the first and third innings and tripled in the fifth inning.

Jessica Capson recorded his eleventh win of the year for the Treasure Valley. He allowed four runs over five innings. Capson struck out four, walked none and gave up eight hits.

Nicole Brown (4-19) took the loss for the Blue Mountain. He allowed 12 runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked four and struck out none.

The Treasure Valley hammered the Blue Mountain pitching as seven hitters had a field day, combining for 13 hits, nine RBIs and 11 runs scored.
