Deaton allows no runs to lead the Big Bend past the Wenatchee Valley 6-2

Daniel Deaton kept the Wenatchee Valley (9-14) off the board during his six innings of work and the Big Bend (13-10) beat the Wenatchee Valley, 6-2.

Deaton allowed five hits, four walks and struck out five.

The Big Bend scored four runs in the first inning to build an early lead.

Signorelli Dylan had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He tripled in the first inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Lars Rider couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Wenatchee Valley, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed five runs.

The Big Bend were sparked by Dylan and Kaleb Price, who teamed up for four hits and two RBIs.
