The Grays Harbor cruise past the South Puget Sound, 8-0

The Grays Harbor (5-14) pounded the South Puget Sound (0-21) on Saturday 8-0 at Yauger Park in five innings.

The Grays Harbor scored four runs in the fifth on a solo home run by Ratana Griffith, a single by Crystal Knight, and a three-run home run by Amanda Anderson.

Shannon Glenn was hot from the plate for the Grays Harbor. Glenn went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the third inning and singled in the first and fifth innings.

Jenny Benn held the South Puget Sound scoreless during his five innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on two hits while striking out seven.

Amanda Rupright (0-19) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in five innings, walked one and struck out five.
