The Highline (15-18) beat the Green River (7-18) 5-1 in eight innings on Tuesday at Service Club- Kent behind Jennifer Simpson, who collected three hits.

Kayla Andrus picked up the win for the Highline. Andrus pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, seven hits and no walks while striking out four.

Aris Califano had a hot bat for the Green River. Califano went 3-4. He singled in the third, fifth, and seventh innings.

Rachel Barcena (5-14) took the loss for the Green River. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
