The Pierce (23-10) built an early lead against the Green River (8-27), scoring three runs in the first inning, en route to a 8-3 win on Sunday at Heritage Park.

Brett Oyer racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Pierce. He doubled in the fourth inning and tripled in the sixth inning.

Cobi Beal picked up the win for the Pierce. Beal pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, seven hits and no walks while striking out five.

Christian Meister ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
