The Pierce (21-10) rolled over the Green River (8-25) 16-1 on Saturday at Mt Tahoma High School after a 10-run rally in the first inning.
Colton Nash had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He tripled in the first inning, doubled in the third inning, and singled in the sixth inning.
Darrien Moran picked up the win for the Pierce. Moran pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and three walks while striking out three.
Yuki Hikichi was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in zero innings, walked one and struck out none.
