Julia Rambo threw a shutout to lift the Wenatchee Valley (31-5) to a 4-0 win over the Yakima Valley (17-20) at North Rotary Park in seven innings.
Rambo struck out 10 hitters en route to the the Wenatchee Valley win. The Wenatchee Valley's pitcher gave up just three hits over seven shutout innings.
Rambo delivered a big hit off the bench in the two.. His pinch-hit single was the key moment in the Wenatchee Valley's four-run win.
With the game scoreless in the second inning Rambo came to the plate and singled.
Kinley Pope was hot from the plate for the Wenatchee Valley. Pope went 2-3 and scored one run. He singled in the second innings and doubled in the sixth inning.
