Parker Franklin had two extra base hits as the Clark (23-11) took home an 11-6 victory over the Clackamas (5-18) at Kindsfather Field on Saturday.
He homered in the second inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and singled in the fourth inning.Layne Sutten pitched lights out for the Clark. The Clackamas managed just one hit off of Sutten, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his 2 2/3 innings of work.
Shane Suyama racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Clackamas. He doubled in the third and seventh innings.
Kevin Hamann got his third win for the Clark despite allowing six runs over six innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered nine hits.
Mark Rees ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
Justin Juarez, Brayden Maney, Jake Ripley and Franklin helped lead the Clark. They combined for 10 hits and seven RBIs.
