T J Diffenderfer went 3-3 at the plate as the Chillicothe Paints (40-20) took home an 8-3 victory over the Terre Haute Rex (37-23) at VA Memorial Stadium on Tuesday.

Steve Huber had an impressive outing against the Terre Haute Rex's lineup. Huber held the Terre Haute Rex hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four.

Zachary Welz had a hot bat for the Terre Haute Rex. Welz went 3-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first, seventh, and ninth innings.

Jeff Degano (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
